Long-distance runners from around the world travel to Wilmington in April to run this Boston Marathon qualifier, which travels through historic neighborhoods and past scenic riverfront vistas. The Delaware Marathon Running Festival starts and finishes at the Tubman-Garrett Riverfront Park on the Wilmington Riverfront. More casual runners can get in on the fun too, with a half-marathon, 5k and 10k.
