For 100 years, the Wilmington Flower Market has been a destination for food, entertainment and everything you need to start your spring garden off in style. Held on the days leading up to Mother’s Day, this free festival has a reputation for booking some up-and-coming nationally touring bands and has created a fiercely devoted following for its Market Mustard and Market Hot Sauce (available only at the festival). But the plants and flowers are the main attraction, and few people leave without something new to go in the ground.
