TEAMS Program
The Tournaments, Events & Athletic Meets Sponsorship (TEAMS) Program is designed specifically for sporting event planners looking to host tournaments, meets, and competitions in Delaware. The program offers financial sponsorship and destination support to help offset event costs while delivering a strong experience for athletes, teams, and spectators. Eligible events—ranging from amateur and youth sports to collegiate and professional competitions—must demonstrate the ability to generate overnight stays and measurable economic impact. Funding is available for both new and returning events and is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
