Weather Tips

Spring in the Brandywine Valley tends to be mild but can be unpredictable and rainy. Average high temperatures start in the low 50s in March and climb to the high 70s by the end of May, but both cold snaps and heat waves are possible. Nighttime temperatures are quite chilly, even on warm days. Check the forecast before your visit, and pack layers, including a raincoat and a windbreaker. Don’t forget an umbrella!
