Since 1964, the Wilmington Jaycees have put on this dazzling Christmas parade down Wilmington, Delaware’s Market Street. The parade features local celebrities and dignitaries, marching and string bands, statewide pageant winners, dance troupes, floats, antique cars, cartoon characters, and much more. The “star of the show,” as always, is Santa Claus. Elves will be accepting Christmas wish lists from children for Santa. Children who provide their name and address will receive a response before Christmas.
