When you see the stripe of green paint appear down the center of King Street in downtown Wilmington, you know the Irish won’t be far behind. The St. Patrick’s Day Parade has been held annually on the Saturday before the holiday (even when the holiday falls on a Saturday) for nearly five decades. After the parade, grab a pint or two at the annual Hooley party hosted by the Irish Culture Club of Delaware.
