113th Annual Arden Fair

September 4, 2021 

The State of Delaware Department of Health & Social Services, Division of Public Health has given the Arden Club the "green light" to go forward with the 113th Arden Fair to be held on Saturday, September 4th, 2021. The Arden Fair features more than one hundred vendors of hand-made crafts and jewelry, an antiques market, live music, rides, food, and beverages. 

 

Brandywine Festival of the Arts 

September 11 – 12, 2021 

The Brandywine Festival of the Arts, Delaware’s largest two-day outdoor cultural event, will return Sept. 11-12 to Brandywine Park in Wilmington for its 60th anniversary year. Featuring about 200 artists in an array of media, including painting, pottery, sculpture, jewelry, woodworking, fabric and photography, the festival is a signature change-of-seasons activity, marking the transition from summer to fall in the park’s Josephine Gardens, one of Wilmington’s most scenic settings. Festival hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 11, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 12. Admission is $5 on both days; children under 12 accompanied by an adult are admitted free. Dogs on leashes are always welcome. Parking will be available at Salesianum School and Abessinio Stadium, with shuttle buses transporting visitors to the festival grounds. Historic Odessa Brewfest 

September 11, 2021 

The annual Odessa Brewfest comes to Historic Odessa each year on the first Saturday after Labor Day. It's an opportunity to sample some of the very best regional and national craft beers, as well as locally produced wines and spirits. Attendees enjoy great food, hand-crafted merchandise, live music, and unlimited samplings of beer amid the historic homes and buildings in this charming 18th-century village. 

Mushroom Festival 

September 11 – 12, 2021 

The Annual Mushroom Festival is a celebration of Kennett Square’s #1 Crop—the mushroom. The Street Fair extends about one mile through town and boasts almost 250 craft and food vendors. 

Delaware Saengerbund Oktoberfest 

September 17 – 19, 2021 

From the opening oompahs of the Friday night parade until the last bratwurst is gone, the Delaware Saengerbund Oktoberfest is a three-day celebration of German food and culture...and beer. 

Hagley Car Show

September 19, 2021 

Experience the wonders of automotive innovation. Browse through more than 500 antique and restored cars that date from the early 1990s all the way back to the early twentieth century. This year’s theme is “Dream Rides and Sports Cars.” The show features vehicle parades, motoring music, video and pedal car racing, and food court. Activities are on Hagley’s upper property. Tickets to the show will be offered online in advance at www.hagley.org/carshow from August 1st through September 18, 2021. 

 

Hispanic Heritage Festival  

September 19, 2021  

Hispanic Heritage Festival will be held at Bellevue State Park (GPS Address: 800 Carr Rd. Wilmington, DE 19809) on Sunday, September 19, 2021. The festival starts at noon and goes until 5 pm. We will be featuring Hispanic arts, traditional music, dances and food at this family and cultural event. 

Delaware Taco Festival 

September 25, 2021
