Sample creative dishes from 25 award-winning chefs from Delaware and across the country when they take over the DuPont Country Club for the 22nd Annual Meals on Wheels Delaware, Celebrity Chefs' Brunch, Sunday, April 14, 2019. The Celebrity Chefs' Brunch will also include fine wines, brunch cocktails and live entertainment, all in support of Delaware's homebound seniors.
This popular and long-running event is as strong as ever drawing top local and national culinary talents to support Meals on Wheels Delaware. This year's lineup starts with honorary chair, Chef Alex Seidel - a 2018 James Beard Award winner for Best Chef: Southwest. Chef Alex won for his work at Mercantile Dining & Provisions, his farm-to-table restaurant in Denver.
Other chefs joining in to support Meals on Wheels include greater Wilmington, Delaware notables Patrick Bradley of Tonic Bar and Grille, Michael Heaps of Harry's Hospitality Group, Robbie Jester of Stone Balloon Ale House and Limestone BBQ & Bourbon, Keith Miller of the Hotel DuPont, and Chris Rauber of Domaine Hudson.

Notables joining Wilmington's top chefs include Paul Bachand from Oregon's Recipe Part Deux, Donald Drake from South Carolina's Magnolias, John Tesar from Dallas's Knife and Cassy Vires from St. Louis's Winslow's Home. For a full list of participating chefs click here.
Regina Dodds, Director of Events for Meals On Wheels Delaware said of the event, “this event is vital for Meals On Wheels Delaware to raise the funds necessary to support the different Meals On Wheels programs throughout the state, making sure that every senior in need in our community is getting home-delivered meals. Guests come to this event because they care and want to help, but these talented chefs really seal the deal.”
All proceeds from the Celebrity Chefs’ Brunch contribute to the non-profit’s fundraising efforts.
