Each year, the streets of Kennett Square come alive with a powerful mix of patriotism, remembrance, and community spirit, and in 2026, that tradition continues in a meaningful way. The annual Memorial Day Parade, hosted by Kennett Collaborative, returns as Chester County’s largest Memorial Day parade, honoring those who have served and sacrificed for our country.

This year’s celebration carries even greater significance as it also serves as the kickoff to the America 250 celebrations in Kennett Square, marking the nation’s 250th anniversary.

Memorial Day is a time to reflect, remember, and honor those who gave their lives in service to the United States. In Kennett Square, this tradition is brought to life through a vibrant parade that brings together veterans, active-duty service members, and the broader community. From marching units and local organizations to schools, performers, and community groups, the parade is a powerful display of unity and gratitude.
