The Grand Opera House is home to many performances including playing host to the First State Ballet Theatre, Delaware’s professional ballet company. The company has written an unparalleled chapter of artistic, educational and financial achievement in Delaware dance history and is the only major First State performing arts company to have presented a statewide season with regular performances in theaters and schools in all three counties from Wilmington to the Beach.

Based on Miguel de Cervantes’ charming tale of romance, this classic ballet features the misadventures of Don Quixote and his devoted squire, Sancho Panza.
