On May 4, 2025, the rolling hills of Winterthur Museum, Garden & Library come alive with steeplechase racing, elegant tailgating, and timeless traditions. Now in its 47th year, this beloved event is the perfect blend of equestrian excitement and sophisticated socializing. 

Racing & Tradition 

The heart of Point-to-Point is the thrilling steeplechase races, where jockeys and horses tackle a challenging course of timber fences.  

Highlights include: 
  • Pony races at noon 
  • Parade of River Hills Foxhounds 
  • George A. “Frolic” Weymouth Parade of Antique Carriages 
  • Steeplechase races at 2 p.m., 2:30 p.m., and 3 p.m. 
  • Amateur training flat race at 3:30 p.m. 
     

Tailgating, Fashion & Festivities 

More than just a race, Point-to-Point is a celebration of style and hospitality. Guests arrive in their best race-day looks, competing for prizes from Wilmington Country Store and Christine A. Moore Millinery. Tailgaters go all out with gourmet spreads, vying for the coveted silver tray for best presentation.
