Summer in Kennett Square is about to get a little more vibrant. Returning for its fifth year, Kennett Summerfest transforms downtown Kennett Square into an afternoon of wine, creativity, music, and community. This year, the celebration comes to town on Sunday, June 14, 2026.
Taking place along South Broad Street in the heart of town, this popular outdoor festival brings together regional wineries, artisan vendors, live music, interactive art experiences, and elevated food and beverage offerings, all while supporting community programming through Kennett Collaborative.
Whether you’re a wine enthusiast, art lover, foodie, or simply looking for the perfect summer day trip in the Brandywine Valley, Kennett Summerfest delivers a little bit of everything.
Sip Your Way Through a Curated Winery Lineup
One of the festival’s biggest highlights is the impressive selection of wineries, cideries, and meaderies pouring unlimited tastings throughout the afternoon.
Participating beverage makers include:
- Chaddsford Winery
- Harvest Ridge Winery
- Penns Woods Winery
- Wayvine Wine & Vineyard
- Elder's Cut Meadery
- Honey Lane Winery
... and many more regional favorites!
An Elevated Non-Alcoholic Experience
This year’s festival is also expanding its non-alcoholic offerings with a more inclusive beverage experience for sober and sober-curious guests. Nectar & Co., a newly launched non-alcoholic marketplace, will make its first in-person pop-up appearance at the festival with curated zero-proof cocktails and dealcoholized wines.
Festivalgoers can also expect appearances from brands like Curious Elixirs and Free Spirits, bringing elevated alcohol-free options to the event lineup.
Interactive Art Around Every Corner
Kennett Summerfest goes beyond food and drink with immersive and hands-on creative experiences throughout the festival.
Guests can:
- Add sparkle at the interactive glitter bar by Calabrese Arts
- Participate in collaborative craft projects
- Contribute to a massive community mural led by local mural artist Val Steur
- Browse artisan vendors featuring jewelry, ceramics, flower crowns, handmade goods, and more
One of the standout experiences will be the festival’s 8-foot-by-8-foot collaborative mural, where attendees can help paint the large-scale artwork throughout the day.
