Ahoy, me hearties… The Kalmar Nyckel Foundation will be hosting its 5th Wilmington Pirate Festival on Saturday, June 29, from 10 am- 4 pm at the Kalmar Nyckel Shipyard and Copeland Maritime Center. Invited pirate crews from near and far will be in attendance to celebrate and entertain fans of all ages.
Make sure to pack your sea legs and climb on board The Kalmar Nyckel, Delaware’s Tall Ship. Get a tour of the ship and maybe even meet some friendly pirates who will take you to school… “sword school,” that is. Plus, take part in learning cannon drills, period games, demonstrations, and so much more! Arrrrgh!
