The Annual Auburn Heights Egg Hunt
Friday, April 18 & Saturday, April 19, 12–3 p.m.
The spring season brings an egg-cellent hunt to the yard of the Auburn Heights Mansion. Ride the rails, enjoy some lunch with food trucks on site, and take your picture with the Easter Bunny! Don’t forget your Easter basket! This event sells out quickly so advance registration and payment are required.
Train Day
Sunday, May 4, 12:30–4:30 p.m.
Enjoy a day out on the grounds of the Mansion and explore all things trains! Take rides aboard the Auburn Valley Railroad, participate in train-centered activities for kids (of all ages), and see special railroad displays including a hands-on telegraph activity, a vintage railroad china exhibit, and a railroad tools display. It’s the perfect day for train enthusiasts of all ages.
Steamin’ Days
First Sundays June–November, 12:30–4:30 p.m.
The best way to experience the Museum and Mansion is to attend a monthly Steamin’ Day! Climb into an antique automobile, board one of the trains, and experience what it was like to travel at the turn of the 20th century. There's something for everyone, age 2 to 92!

Classic Car Show & Garden Party

The annual Auburn Heights Invitational is a must-visit event for car enthusiasts, showcasing exceptional motor cars from the dawn of the automotive age through 1969—all in support of the Joseph Boxler Education Fund and the Marshall Steam Museum’s educational programs. Beyond the incredible autos, enjoy delicious bites from On the Roll Food Truck, wine from Total Wine & More, craft beer from Dew Point Brewing Co., and sweet treats from Woodside Farm Creamery. Take a ride on the Auburn Valley Railroad, tour the historic Auburn Heights Mansion, and explore special exhibits, presentations, and a silent auction. Can’t attend? Most auction items will be available online starting September 1, so you can still support this important fundraiser (local pickup only). The event is rain or shine. Don’t miss this exciting day of history, food, and fun!
