The 2025–2026 NBA G League season tips off on Saturday, November 8, when the Blue Coats host the Westchester Knicks at Chase Fieldhouse. The home opener is just the beginning of a thrilling schedule, packed with family-friendly events, weekend showdowns, and special games that make Wilmington the place to be for live basketball action.
Delaware will host seven home games before heading to Orlando for the NBA G League Winter Showcase, the league’s premier in-season scouting event. After the Showcase, records reset for the 36-game regular season, which begins December 27 on the road and returns to Chase Fieldhouse on December 29 against the Iowa Wolves.

Fans can also look forward to some exciting firsts and fan-favorite events. On Wednesday, December 31, the Blue Coats will host their first-ever New Year’s Eve Game, tipping off at noon for a special Kids Countdown to 2026 against the Iowa Wolves. Then, February brings back Education Day Games (Feb. 5 and 12), a highlight for thousands of local students and a franchise attendance record-setter last season. The month also features a five-game homestand, including back-to-back games against the Wisconsin Herd and the defending champion (s), the Maine Celtics.
In total, 16 of the Blue Coats’ 24 home games will be played on weekends, making it easy for families and fans to catch the action. A promotional schedule with themed nights and giveaways will be announced soon so be sure to check back for the details.
