Deck the halls, and your gingerbread! Gather the family for this hands-on Gingerbread Decorating Experience, where HOTEL DU PONT's pastry team provides pre-assembled gingerbread houses, royal icing, and a full candy bar to bring your sugary visions to life.
Each reservation includes one gingerbread house (perfect for up to four people), and families can enjoy a holiday buffet, hot chocolate bar, and a special visit from Santa while they craft their creations.
With the hotel’s two-story tree sparkling in the background and festive music in the air, it’s a sweet and memorable way to celebrate the season together.

Tea’s the season! Step into the grandeur of the Gold Ballroom and celebrate the magic of the holidays with an indulgent afternoon tea surrounded by glittering décor and live music. Guests will enjoy elegant tiers of holiday-inspired sandwiches, like salmon mousse on pumpernickel, shrimp and pineapple salad on mini croissants, and chicken salad with red grapes and dill, followed by festive sweets crafted by Spark’d Creative Pastry.
It’s a sparkling seasonal experience that combines timeless tradition with a touch of modern indulgence. This event always sells out quickly, so early reservations are encouraged.
Can’t make the grand tea in the Ballroom? Le Cavalier at the Green Room offers a more intimate option with its Friday Afternoon Tea, perfect for celebrating the season in a cozy style. Savor a curated menu of savory bites, delicate pastries, and fresh sandwiches paired with custom tea blends. Guests can elevate their experience with champagne, natural wine, or handcrafted cocktails available à la carte.
Friday Afternoon Tea is $55 per person. Service begins at 3:00 PM on select Fridays throughout the 2025 holiday season.
