Our Bitts and Bites video series continues with an inside look into the Delaware Children’s Museum and Riverwalk Mini Golf – just in time for a bit of summer fun!
The Delaware Children’s Museum is the first and only kid-centric museum, teaching math, science and technology through hands-on exhibits in the First State. Children’s museums ignite creative sparks that last a lifetime and result in objective and quantifiable learning. With spectacular exhibits by one of the nation’s foremost museum designers enticing all ages − from toddlers to preteens, and parents to grandparents- the Delaware Children’s Museum is a welcome addition to Wilmington’s Riverfront landscape. In 2022 the museum celebrates its 12th birthday!
Behind the Museum lies Riverwalk Mini Golf , an 18-hole miniature golf course located along the Wilmington Riverwalk! This beautifully landscaped course was designed by Harris Miniature Golf of Wildwood, New Jersey and features many of the colors and plant life found along the Riverfront, including the iconic Tom Burke birdhouses! Also available are 9 flavors of soft serve ice cream, milkshakes, Philadelphia water ice, Coca Cola fountain sodas and bike rentals. The perfect treat to end the day!
