A Hilarious Take on Family, Rivalry & Reinvention
Set in a quiet Pennsylvania farmhouse, the story centers around siblings Vanya and Sonia, who have spent much of their lives feeling stuck as the world moves around them. Their routine is turned upside down when their glamorous, movie-star sister Masha arrives unexpectedly bringing along her much younger boyfriend, Spike.
What follows is a whirlwind of comedic chaos, from a clairvoyant housekeeper predicting dramatic futures to a star-struck neighbor chasing her big break. Add a costume party that threatens to push everyone over the edge, and you have a play filled with absurd, laugh-out-loud moments. Despite its over-the-top humor, the story offers a surprisingly heartfelt look at family dynamics, midlife reflection, and the roles we play in each other’s lives.
