Broadway, television, and music fans are in for an unforgettable night when Darren Criss takes the stage at The Playhouse on Rodney Square on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at 7 p.m. Presented by The Grand, this one-night-only concert brings the Emmy, Golden Globe, and Tony Award–winning performer to downtown Wilmington with a brand-new tour celebrating his dynamic and genre-spanning career. 

Best known to many for his breakout role on Glee, Darren Criss has built a career that effortlessly bridges pop music, Broadway, television, and original songwriting. This concert will showcase fan-favorite songs from across his journey, including music from Glee, his viral StarKid beginnings, and the acclaimed Broadway productions he has starred in, making it a must-see experience for longtime fans and newcomers alike.  

Criss is currently starring in the critically acclaimed Broadway hit Maybe Happy Ending, directed by Michael Arden, where his performance earned him the 2025 Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical. His résumé also includes leading roles in Hedwig and the Angry Inch, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, and American Buffalo, as well as his award-winning turn in The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story, which garnered him an Emmy, Golden Globe, and multiple critics’ awards.
