The Delaware Museum of Natural History welcomes visitors to explore nature and science through discovering far away jungles and seas as well as the Delmarva habitats found near our own backyard. In addition to several special exhibits on national tour each year, highlighted exhibits include dinosaurs, birds, mammals and shells. The interactive Nature Nook features live animals, and outdoor areas include a meadow, pollinator garden, and wooded trail.
Monday through Saturday: 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Sunday: Noon – 4:30 p.m.
Closed: Thanksgiving and Christmas. Early Closings: Christmas Eve (close at 1 p.m.), New Year’s Eve (close at 3 p.m.)
Admission is $9.00 for ages 3-59, $8.00 for Seniors (60+), $3.00 for toddlers ages 1 and 2. Babies under 12 months and DMNH Members are free
