What’s Happening This April at Liquid Alchemy Beverages

As spring arrives in Greater Wilmington, it’s the perfect time to explore the city’s craft beverage scene, and Liquid Alchemy Beverages (LAB) is a must-stop for anyone looking to sip something unique. Located just outside of downtown Wilmington, Delaware’s first meadery offers a one-of-a-kind experience blending handcrafted drinks, creative events, and a welcoming local vibe.  

From rotating food trucks to hands-on workshops, April is packed with reasons to visit. Whether you’re planning a weekend getaway or adding a stop to your Wilmington itinerary, here’s what to look forward to this month. 

Sip & Stitch: Cocktails and Crochet 

Looking to try something new? Join Liquid Alchemy on Sunday, April 12 for a unique and relaxed workshop combining creativity and craft beverages. Led by instructor Lauren, this beginner-friendly class teaches the basics of crochet in a welcoming environment, perfect for anyone curious to learn a new skill while enjoying mead, cider, or specialty cocktails. 

The $25 class fee (cash or Venmo) includes all materials needed to create your own small crochet project. Already experienced? Bring your current project and join the group for a casual, creative hangout—no registration fee required. 

Food Truck Fridays (and Saturdays!) 

LAB is known for their rotating lineup of local food trucks, bringing a variety of flavors to pair perfectly with the Meadery's handcrafted beverages.
