Spring in the Brandywine Valley means the return of one of the region’s most beloved weekly traditions, the Kennett Square (KSQ) Farmers Market. The market has resumed its weekly schedule, bringing fresh, locally grown flavors, and a welcoming community atmosphere to the heart of Kennett Square.

Held every Friday from 3–6 p.m. at 600 S. Broad Street, the market features more than 20 local farms, food producers, and artisans offering everything you need for a delicious, locally sourced weekend.

A True Community Gathering

More than just a place to shop, the KSQ Farmers Market is a gathering space where neighbors connect, and relationships grow. Farmers and producers take pride in meeting customers face-to-face, creating a sense of trust and connection that defines the market experience. Families will find plenty to enjoy as well, including a popular coloring table, hands-on activities from local organizations, and a new family reading area curated by Forage Books. The market also partners with Kennett Area Community Service to support the local community. Shoppers are encouraged to purchase extra items and donate them in designated bins, helping provide fresh, nutritious food to neighbors in need. This simple, community-driven effort ensures that the impact of the market extends far beyond Friday afternoons.

Vendor participation rotates weekly, so each visit offers something new. For the latest lineup and offerings, visitors can subscribe to the weekly “What’s Fresh” newsletter at ksqfarmersmarket.com.
