Wilmington’s beer scene is on the rise—again. Wilmington Brew Works has officially opened Brew Works North, its second location, at 1851 Marsh Road in the Plaza III shopping center. The new taproom debuted on June 27, 2025, introducing a fresh and playful take on the brewpub experience. Designed as a “modern take on a retro pub,” Brew Works North is where great craft beer meets laid-back nostalgia—think vintage games, bold design, and a menu made for kicking back. Pool - WBW Brew North

Unlike the flagship beer hall on Miller Road, Brew Works North is a 21+ venue with a high-energy, grown-up playground feel. Inside, you’ll find five dart lanes, pool tables, regulation cornhole courts, foosball, skee-ball, pinball machines, and a digital TouchTunes jukebox ready to set the mood. Whether you're joining a cornhole league or just meeting up for post-work drinks, this spot brings fun and flavor together in one unforgettable space.

Brew Works North features 14 taps, most pouring Wilmington Brew Works’ award-winning beers and ciders, alongside guest taps from other top Delaware breweries. There's a rotating selection of craft cocktails made with Delaware spirits, as well as beer slushies and nostalgic snack bar favorites—think popcorn, pretzels, and sweet treats. Patrons are welcome to bring their own food or grab a bite from nearby businesses like 322 BBQ, just a few steps away.

Brew Works North

The opening of Brew Works North wasn’t without its challenges. Delaware’s laws initially limited breweries to a single production facility, which nearly stalled the expansion. Thanks to House Bill 170, sponsored by Representative Debra Heffernan and Senator Dan Cruce, the law was amended just in time, allowing the Alcohol Commissioner to grant Brew Works North a microbrewery license the day before opening. The Miller Road location remains the heart of beer brewing operations, family-friendly events, and live music, while Brew Works North offers an energetic and intimate contrast.

Ready to play, sip, and socialize? Whether you’re darting through a league night or catching up with friends over a cider slushie, Brew Works North delivers big flavor, big fun, and a bold new energy to Wilmington’s northern edge.
