As the holiday season approaches, visitors to Greater Wilmington, Delaware, are in for a special treat. The Historic Odessa Foundation (HOF) is once again bringing the magic of the season to life with its annual holiday exhibit, tours, and special events, all centered around a unique theme for 2024. This year, HOF celebrates the 250th anniversary of the National Historic Landmark Corbit-Sharp House by transforming its interior into scenes inspired by J.M. Barrie’s beloved novel, Peter and Wendy. From November 12 through December 29, guests can step into a world of adventure, where they’ll join Peter Pan, the Lost Boys, and Captain Hook on a journey through Neverland.

The Corbit-Sharp House’s rooms will become immersive vignettes straight from Barrie’s classic tale, taking visitors on a journey from the Darling family’s nursery to the high seas aboard Hook’s pirate ship. Historic Odessa is known for its magical holiday exhibits, and this year promises to be an unforgettable experience for both children and adults alike.
