Jessica Colasanti is the new Social Media & Marketing Specialist at the Greater Wilmington Convention & Visitors Bureau.  Jessica graduated from West Virginia University where she received a bachelor’s degree in Strategic Communications and earned three minors in Business Administration, Event Planning, and Communications Studies.  Sarah Willoughby, CTP, CTIS, Executive Director of the Bureau, says “We are delighted to have Jessica join our team.  She brings the GWCVB a new look at social media.”

Jessica moved to Delaware from New Jersey at the age of ten and quickly grew to love the first state and appreciate all that it has to offer.  She attended Holy Angels School in Newark and St. Mark’s High School in Wilmington where she participated in an all girls’ service club and various athletic programs.  In addition to holding a part time job, Jessica volunteered with Cooley’s Anemia Foundation, a New York based organization dedicated to raising funds for medical research and education to benefit individuals living with genetic blood disorders.

Jessica has always had the drive and ambition to surpass her personal goals and plans on continuing to push further.  She never gives up on an opportunity and appreciates all that life has to offer.
