Chicago Sky Schedules WNBA Preseason Game at
the University of Delaware and Elena Delle Donne Returns to the BOB

(February 18, 2014)...Chicago Sky will host the first ever WNBA preseason game in
Delaware on Tuesday, May 13 at 7pm at the University of Delaware against the
Washington Mystics. University alumna
and Recipient of the 2013 WNBA Rookie of the Year Award, Elena Delle Donne, returns
to the BOB. Tickets for the Chicago Sky
vs. Washington Mystics preseason game will go on sale to the public on Monday,
March 17, 2014. Tickets can be purchased
by phone at 1-800-745-3000, online at www.Ticketmaster.com
or in person at the Bob Carpenter Center at 631 South College Avenue, Newark,
DE 19716 between 8:30 and 4:30 Monday through Friday.
Elena began her
career at the University of Delaware in 2009 and became one of the school's
most successful athletes. She was
awarded the Senior CLASS Award and Honda Award in 2013 and was the First Team
All-American and National Player of the Year candidate in her junior and senior
seasons. Chicago Sky drafted Del Donne
in 2013 with the second overall pick in 2013.
She will begin her second season with Chicago Sky this May.
University of
