Wilmington, DE (June 26, 2018) – The Greater Wilmington Convention & Visitors Bureau (GWCVB), New Castle County’s only dedicated tourism marketing organization, is pleased to announce the appointment of two new members to its Board of Directors. With a mission dedicated to generating economic growth, the GWCVB focuses on marketing the area’s rich history, diverse culture and world-class gardens to leisure travelers, while also cultivating meetings, conventions and group tour opportunities. As a result, the GWCVB assists in generating over $2 billion dollars annually in visitor spending in New Castle County.

Overall, the GWCVB Board represents a diverse and distinguished cross-section of leaders in tourism, hospitality, business and government throughout New Castle County. The two newly appointed board members will serve a three-year term. The appointees are:

    Publisher, TSN Media Inc.
     
  • Celeste K. Mozeik, MS
    Business Instructional Director/Department Chair
    Delaware Technical Community College
    George Campus
     

Sarah Willoughby, Executive Director of the Greater Wilmington Convention & Visitors Bureau said, “I am honored to welcome these two new board members and believe their range of experiences and unique backgrounds will become a great asset to the Bureau.” 

The Greater Wilmington Convention & Visitors Bureau is governed by a board of 27 members, seven appointed by the governor, seven by the New Castle County Executive, and seven by the Mayor of Wilmington. These 21 elect six additional members.
