Transportation
With its great location and easy access, getting to the Greater Wilmington and the Brandywine Valley is a breeze. Centrally located on the I-95 corridor midway between Washington, D.C. and New York City, Greater Wilmington can be accessed by car, bus, train or plane.
Several major highways lead directly to and through Wilmington, including I-95, I-495, I-295 and the New Jersey Turnpike. All north and south bound Amtrak trains stop in Wilmington, as well as DART First State's and SEPTAR-2 commuter trains that travel to and from Philadelphia Monday through Saturday. Air access to the area is convenient as well through Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), just 25 minutes from Downtown Wilmington.
And once in Wilmington, our transportation selections include a variety of rental car companies, limousine companies, tour companies, shuttle services and bus services.
