BrandyWine Summer

With hundreds of miles of trails, the Brandywine Valley can be hiked from end to end in almost any direction. Trails connect state parks with nature centers, cities with local farmland, and offer everything from leisurely strolls to challenging, day-long courses. Without many steep hills or rugged terrain, most trails are accessible to hikers of even moderate experience.

There's so much to see that the Brandywine Trail Club hosts more than 400 events a year. The highlight? The annual 29-mile Brandywine Trail End-to-End Hike in the spring, starting at Horseshoe Trail near Ludwig's Corner, Pennsylvania, and ending in Brandywine Creek State Park near Wilmington, Delaware, running along the scenic Brandywine Creek Valley.
