Planes: Downtown Wilmington is only 10 minutes (by car) from NEW CASTLE COUNTY AIRPORT (ILG), 20 minutes from Philadelphia International Airport and 90 minutes from Baltimore/Washington International Airport.

Trains: Most trains on the Northeast Corridor between New York City and Washington D.C., including the Acela Express, stop in Wilmington. SEPTA's commuter trains connect Philadelphia, WILMINGTON and NEWARK. The AMTRAK train station is located blocks from the center of Wilmington, at Martin Luther King Boulevard and French Street. Several rental car agencies, including Avis, Budget, Enterprise and Hertz, have offices inside the train station. Amtrak's Northeast Regional line allows riders to travel with their bicycle (for a small additional fee) so you can explore bike-friendly Delaware - ranked a top-10 bicycle friendly state by the League of American Bicyclist. And don;t fear, small pets, 20 pounds and under, can also travel the Northeast Regional.

Automobiles: Most attractions inside Wilmington and the Brandywine Valley are located only minutes from I-95.
