Springtime in the Brandywine Valley!
Spring has arrived - and this spring will surely be extra special! There are two new additions to the Greater Wilmington mix of attractions! World Café Live Wilmington at The Queen Theatre officially opens on April 2nd in the totally restored Queen Theatre on Market Street in Downtown Wilmington. Built in 1915, the Historic Queen Theatre will now function as a spectacular musical venue. Check out the performance schedule here!
For those that follow my blog, you know I have mentioned it before, but it is worth mentioning again. Nordstrom's opens at the Christiana Mall on April 8 (click here for info on the grand opening). My husband is already trying to take away my credit cards. I keep stressing... "it is tax-free!" Also, don't forget to "like" our facebook page! We will pick one lucky fan on April 8th who will receive $100 to Christiana Mall and $50 to Brio Tuscan Grille. Sounds like a great day out to me!
So - those are on my to-do list and should be on yours too! Have kids? You should check out the Delaware Children's Museum, Delaware Museum of Natural History, Hagley Museum and Library, Winterthur Museum and Gardens, DuPont Environmental Education Center, Historic Houses of Odessa, -all will be great places to take the family as the weather gets warmer this April.
So - check out our website for things to do - have your calendar nearby and start planning. Next time - I will tell you more about the many events in the area...hint - Winterthur's Point -to -Point , DuPont Clifford Brown Jazz Festival, A Day in Old New Castle, Wilmington Garden Day, the Italian Festival, the Greek Festival...just to name a few.
Look forward to seeing you out!
