VEndemmia Wine FestivalFor the past twelve years, the da Vinci Society of Delaware has held an annual celebration of all things Italian and they continue this tradition today with the 12th Annual Vendemmia da Vinci. On October 11, 2015, the da Vinci Society's yearly celebration will take place from 2 to 6 p.m. at its new location inside Bellevue State Park. Stop by for an opportunity to sample delicious Italian wines and food, as well as enjoy the many other attractions of the Vendemmia da Vinci.

The Vendemmia da Vinci is not only a fantastic way to celebrate Italian culture, it's a great place to celebrate the grape harvest. At the festival, the long history of Italian wines and the wine culture of Wilmington, Delaware coalesce into a tasty celebration of all things wine! From imported Italian wines, to the presence of local wineries, to homemade wines from the region -- you'd be hard-pressed to find a better place to go tasting!

Skip lunch, come early and come hungry, because the Vendemmia da Vinci is not short on food - great Italian food. From savory to sweet and made-to-order goodness to artisan chefs with tasty goods to take home, there's something for everyone. And what better way to sample your artisan panini than to the sounds of live entertainment in a charming beer garden--where attendees are welcome to enjoy delicious brews of all kinds.

There will be local and Italian craftsmen and artisans selling all types of goods, as well as a silent auction, commemorative wine glass, home-made gravy contest, and more!

For 2015 the festival will be held at an all-new location, Bellevue State Park, with easy access off I95 just north of downtown Wilmington, Delaware, on October 11, 2015. Admission is $60.00 at the gate or $50.00 in advance.
