Step in Chris Sanderson’s country home and tour eight rooms rich with over 200 years of American history. The Sanderson Museum houses Wyeth Family Art, Military Artifacts, Autographs, Vintage Violin’s and local memorabilia. Read letters from Civil War soldiers and see photographs of early 20th Century Chadds Ford. Learn about the Battle of Brandywine and discover old-time toys, telegrams and more in this captivating collection. Open March through November, Thursday through Sunday, 12pm to 4pm or by appointment. Visit the museum at 1755 Creek Road (old Route 100), Chadds Ford, just north of Route 1. Admission to the museum is $8 for an adult, $5 for children between the ages of 6-12 yrs old and free for children 5 yrs old and under.
