As the restaurant scene in this college town has exploded over the past 15 years, so has the Taste of Newark, where nearly 50 local restaurants – including most every place on Main Street – gather on the Old College Lawn at the University of Delaware on a late-summer Sunday to show what they’ve got. There’s something for every taste and always more to sample than you’re able to eat, and with dozens of students from UD’s hospitality program helping behind the scenes, it’s one of the smoothest-run events of the year.
