Writers in Wilmington brings notable local writers to the Museum for enthralling readings of poetry, fiction, and non-fiction. During this audiovisual presentation and lively lecture, Ben Yagoda, cultural historian and a journalism professor at the University of Delaware, will discuss his most recent bookThe B Side: The Death of Tin Pan Alley and the Rebirth of the Great American Song. This is the story of how the American Songbook all but disappeared by the early 1950s. There will be a brief Q&A.
