A large percent of Northern Delaware's drinking water comes from the Brandywine River. Follow our water as it travels the newly restored mill race, is cleaned in the Brandywine filtration plant, and gets distributed throughout the Wilmington and Brandywine Hundred. We will have a throughout water tasting overlooking the Cool Spring Reservoir Plaza, and end with a hike to the top of Hoopes Dam. Bring a bag lunch and wear good walking shoes. Dress for the weather.
