Admission: Free to main event: Nominal charge TBD for pre-event reception.

Fashion show modeled in historically-accurate clothing from the Viking era to World War I. Portraying the workday and military clothing of our forebears through the ages, via models dressed in historically accurate garb, will give attendees a real education in what life was like in the past, especially during the colonial period. As each model presents himself or herself in accurately created garb, each will be accompanied by an accurate description of how they worked and survived.

2:00 PM historical fashion show will be preceded at 1:00 PM by a VIP reception. The public will be admitted to the fashion show itself without charge, but members of the public wishing to attend the reception will pay a nominal charge, to be determined. The event will cover: The Vikings, who were the ancestors of the early Swedish colonists--the first Europeans to colonize the Delaware Valley; the Swedish, Dutch, and English colonists; and the native Americans with whom the Swedes became friendly and who helped those early Swedish colonists to survive; 19th century garb; and early 20th century clothing up to World War I. Reservations are required for both the event itself and the reception.
