Underground Railroad Superhero Fun Day

Celebrate Superheroes from the Underground Railroad and today during this free outdoor family-friendly event open to the local community and region at Fort Christina Park, a documented site of Underground Railroad crossings on the National Underground Railroad Network to Freedom.

• Wear your favorite Superhero costume to meet Superheroes from the past: historic re-enactors such as Harriet Tubman, Frederick Douglass, and Thomas Garrett.
• Guided tours of Fort Christina Park plus arts activities, and partnerships with local organizations.
