Underground Railroad Superhero Day

Celebrate real-life heroes from Delaware’s Underground Railroad at Fort Christina Park, where freedom seekers escaped on the riverfront. Children & adults can explore what it means to be a superhero through art, activities, and historic re-enactors including Harriet Tubman, Captain Fountain, Harry Craige. Story books, face painting and ice cream add to the fun. 

Note: "The Rocks" in Fort Christina Park are a designated National Underground Railroad Network to Freedom site.
