"Twenty Questions and other works on paper" by Ron Meick, will be on view in the Mezzanine Gallery from October 7-28, 2016, with an opening reception on Friday, October 7 from 5-7 p.m.
Meick received a 2016 Individual Artist Fellowship in Works on Paper. The title of the exhibition, “Twenty questions,” is from the name of the series featured which includes twenty pieces with each one posing a different question. The work explores the artist’s role of questioning the many philosophical issues that can define the meaning of an art object. Various printmaking techniques and sound are utilized in this recent body of work.
The Mezzanine Gallery, open weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., is located in the Carvel State Office Building, 820 N. French Street, Wilmington.
