City Theater Company returns to the Wings Black Box at The Delaware Contemporary this February with The Year of Magical Thinking by Joan Didion, a one-woman play based on her bestselling memoir, starring Mary Catherine Kelley and directed by CTC Artistic Director Kerry Kristine McElrone.
Adapted by the author for Broadway in 2007, this award-winning play is a riveting and heartfelt elegy that expands on the bestselling book - which won the National Book Award and was a Pulitzer Prize finalist - in its exploration of grief following the deaths of Didion's husband John Gregory Dunne and daughter Quintana Roo.
Limited engagement, four performances - February 10, 11, 17, 18. All shows 8 PM. There will be an Opening Night Reception immediately following the performance on February 10.
