Historic New Castle celebrates Delaware's independence from Pennsylvania and the British Crown!
Friday, June 10 marks the beginning of the festivities from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM there will be music, food, and drinks available for everyone to enjoy in a block-party setting along with featured performer: What The Funk!
Saturday, June 11 is filled with excitement. It starts at 12:00 PM with the Separation Day Parade on Delaware Street. At 1:00 PM the festival and vintage market open up in Battery Park, and from 2:00 PM to 9:30 PM there will be live music from a number of performers at Battery Park including, Blues Reincarnation Project, Blue Cat Blues, The Jimmy Pritchard Band, and Big Package. Finally, the festivities will be finished with fireworks beginning at 9:30 PM also at Battery Park.
