Know Before You Go:
If you’re visiting, or traveling in, Wilmington & the Brandywine Valley or throughout Delaware, it's important to do so safely. Learn what plans are in place and what steps to take to ensure your safety during COVID-19.
Science Saturday is presented by Young Conaway Stargatt & Taylor, LLP.
Visitors of all ages are invited to discover solutions to science and engineering challenges at Science Saturday. Discover the wonderful, worm-filled world of soil! Create your own mixture, plant a seed in it, and watch it grow! Activities are included in regular admission and free for Hagley members. This is a drop-in activity, so feel free to join the fun at any time from 12 to 4 p.m. Use Hagley’s main entrance off Route 141 in Wilmington, Delaware. Bonus: This week we’ll be joined by our friends from the Delaware Museum of Natural History (DMNH) who will be providing some extra fun! Dig into DMNH’s compost bin for a look at dirt’s best-known resident—the worm! Learn about other dirt dwellers and meet some, too!
Join us for a double dose of fun with two great outdoor activities rolled into one fun day! Also available is Summer Saturday at Hagley - Edible Dirt from 11am to 3pm
