Inspired by Shinrin-Yoku, the practice of forest bathing encourages you to slow down, relax and reconnect with nature by quieting the mind and awakening the senses. Deepen your connection to the natural world and community through sensory invitations. The practice of Forest Bathing has many proven health benefits and can promote an overall feeling of well-being. Shelli Smith, who will lead the experience, is a Certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide and Master Naturalist Trainee, and is a Delaware native. When Shelli is not wandering around the woods, she is a Dental Hygienist, Yoga Instructor and Longarm Quilter. Her hobbies include beekeeping and paddle boarding. Shelli loves opening the door for others to slow down and connect with Nature through Forest Bathing.
