Even 250 years after his birth, Beethoven is everywhere — a global artist whose name needs no introduction and whose language requires no translation. He was a revolutionary, a visionary, and a man of the world. His powerful imagination brimmed over with musical ideas; he was bold and passionate. The impact of Beethoven’s work on the course of music history could not have been greater. Join us as we welcome the Calidores in their first year as quartet-in-residence at UD Music and the 250th anniversary of Beethoven’s birth with Beethoven 2020!
