Back in the day, Beru Revue rode rough shod over the Tristate area with Bohemian tales of religion, booze, death and Dickensian social consciousness. After ten years of “reunion” shows, Beru is thrilled to embrace their theatrical evolution. For them, the future is a return to their roots. Think Alice Cooper meets Gilbert & Sullivan on steroids, with a good dose of silly fun. Beru Revue features the soaring guitar attack of the amazing Greg Davis and Mark Julian Teague. Original Dave’s bassist Jerry Getz and drummer Tommy Pinto hold the back court. New special additions of EJ Simpson on keys & mandolin, and the storied Nita Slater on vocals give Beru extra muscle and finesse. "What a joy it is to perform old and new songs in true Beruvian form," adds band leader Bob Beru. "Shall we? Whoop! Whoop! Whoop!"
