Courtney Fullilove will explore the history of American agricultural development, showing us how seeds became some of its most important political tools. This author talk is based off of Fullilove’s book, The Profit of Earth: The Global Seeds of American Agriculture. Fullilove is associate professor of history, environmental studies, and science in society at Wesleyan University. This talk is free and open to the public.
