    A fashion show “moving picture” designed by artist Shawn Baron Pinckney

    In the spirit of the 1920s and the dawn of motion pictures featured in Nickelodeons and Picture Palaces, our fashion show will be a virtual short film experience. Enjoy exclusive access to this “moving picture” debuting 1920s inspired fashion from the exhibition, Suffragists, and featuring our Modern Day Suffragist honorees. Guests will have the option to view in our museum auditorium or from the comfort of your own home! All ticket holders will receive name recognition in our closing credits as supporting contributors to this powerful film celebrating 100 years of Votes for Women. We are offering two film screenings at the museum with social distance and COVID-safe measures in place. All ticket holders will also receive virtual access to the film for at-home viewing.

    Wearable Art Boutique Auction
    On display Friday, October 23 - Sunday, October 25 during open hours and film screenings.

    Items will be on display for viewing and available for online bidding. ALL ticket holders will receive a printed Art & Couture program and special access to this online auction of one-of-a-kind boutique items made by local artisans, salon packages, and more!

    Speakeasy Mystery Box
    ALL ticket holders will receive a mystery box of gourmet snacks, 1920s inspired cocktail kit, and a few surprises! VIP ticket holders will also receive a signed print by Shawn Baron Pinckney. No two boxes will be the same! Guests attending the film screenings will receive their Mystery Box at the event. Ticket holders that wish to view from home can arrange for curbside pick-up.

    Modern Day Suffragist Honorees
    We are excited to present our Modern Day Suffragists who will be model honorees at this event for their extraordinary accomplishments in government, business, social reform, and community engagement:

    Ashley Biden, former Executive Director for the Delaware Center for Justice and founder of the philanthropic Livelihood brand.

    Congresswoman Lisa Blunt Rochester, represents Delaware in the U.S. House of Representatives and serves as an Assistant Whip for House Leadership. Congresswoman Lisa Blunt Rochester sits on the House Committee on Energy and Commerce.

    Lieutenant Governor Bethany Hall-Long, sworn in as Delaware’s 26th Lt. Governor on January 17th, 2017. In her first two years as Lt. Governor, Bethany has been tasked by Governor Carney to lead the state’s efforts to combat the opioid and heroin epidemic as Chair of the Behavioral Health Consortium. Recently, her office launched a statewide program, the Lt. Governor’s Challenge 2.0, in an effort to improve health outcomes in her efforts at ensuring a stronger, healthier Delaware.
