This time last year, we announced our first annual summer photo contest and received over 300 submissions! Thanks to its success we’re at it again...
Enter our 2022 #VisitWilm Summer Photo Contest for your chance to win a Family Getaway to the beautiful Brandywine Valley.
Featured prizes include:
- A 2023 Brandywine Treasure Trail Family Passport –this provides admission for two adults and up to three children under 17 to 12 of the area’s top attractions.
- A two-night stay at one of the area’s finest hotels, just a stone’s throw from local restaurants and tax-free shopping!
- Dinner at an amazing Wilmington restaurant.
- A $50 gas card.
Plus, every photo entered will earn you a chance to win monthly giveaways including tickets to some of the area's amazing attractions, such as: Winterthur Museum, Garden & Library; Hagley Museum and Library; Nemours Estate; and Longwood Gardens.
Winning photos will also be featured on our social media and in our 2023-2024 Visitor Guide.
Photo Submissions Guidelines:
We want your best photos taken along the Brandywine Treasure Trail – a collection of 12 amazing attractions throughout the Brandywine Valley – see all 12 here. Whether you are hiking along the trails at Mt. Cuba Center or visiting the Delaware History Museum, we want to see your pics. But, if you're exploring through #VisitWilm without the Passport and find yourself inspired... we want to see those photos too! Feel free to enter as many images as you like from anywhere in the Wilmington and Brandywine Valley area! There is no limit. Submissions will be accepted July 15, 2022 – October 31, 2022. Winning photographers will be notified on the 30th of each month beginning in August with our grand prize winner announced on November 5, 2022.
*By uploading content to Wilmington and the Brandywine Valley, you agree that you have all the necessary rights and permissions to do so. You also grant the Greater Wilmington Convention & Visitors Bureau the right to re-use your photos in their social media marketing, on VisitWilmingtonDE.com, in the 2023-24 Visitor Guide, and in any print/digital marketing.

How to Enter:
Step 1: Upload your Greater Wilmington and Brandywine Valley image(s) using the uploader below.
Step 2: Enter your name, email, phone number, and photo location.
Step 3: Click “Upload”!
Prizes:
One winning photo will be selected each month, July through October. Monthly winners will be contacted via email on or about the 30th of each month. The grand prize winner will be notified via email on or near November 5, 2022. Monthly winners will receive two tickets to a local attraction of their choosing from a list provided. Our grand prize winner will receive a 2023 Brandywine Treasure Trail Family Passport Getaway! This package includes a 2023 Family Passport, a two-night hotel stay, a dinner at an amazing Greater Wilmington restaurant, and a gas card. The total estimated prize value is $500 dollars.
