Well, if you haven’t been, be sure to check out their monthly Steamin’ Day event (The best way to experience the museum and the property it resides on!). Come one, come all to experience something magical.
Last Month for Indigenous Faces of Wilmington at DE Art Museum
Throughout the month of August, we hope you stop into the Delaware Art Museum to see the Indigenous Faces exhibition. Only on display until early September, this collection opens a dialogue to re-introduce, re-discover, and re-educate individuals about the vibrant and intersecting cultures of indigenous people in Wilmington.
And be sure not to miss stopping into the Art Museum on August 13th to check out the Jet Phynx Dirty Popcorn Black Film Festival! More information here.
Well, would you look at that... a whole month’s worth of events listed here, and there’s still plenty more on our events calendar to explore! Seems to us that this little ol’ city has enough to fill an entire weekend (or more!) And that’s just in the month of August.
